Kasey Evering, who retired more than two years ago, has been recalled to Jamaica’s senior netball squad for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland from July 23 to August 3.

The 31-year-old defender says she decided to return following a call from Netball Jamaica.

Evering last represented Jamaica in the three-test home series against Australia in 2011.

The 21-member squad also includes Romelda Aikens and Jhaniele Fowler who are currently playing in the ANZ league in Australia and New Zealand.
