The governing People’s National Party (PNP) will tomorrow hold six Regional Executive Council (REC) meetings in several parishes across the island.
The PNP secretariat says among other things the meetings will be used to present its slate of provisional candidates for the upcoming Local Government elections.
The PNP says the meetings will be used to complete the election of officers to serve at the regional level.
The meetings are closed to the media and are restricted to REC members only.
The PNP says its 2014-2015 programme of political work and the establishment of regional review committees to address proposed amendments to its Constitution are among the issues up for discussion.
